The PerkinElmer Scientific Equipment Coordinator will join the team based on one of our client sites. Successful Candidate will work with Laboratory support team and alongside the client scientific community. The role involves coordinating asset repairs, maintenance and supporting total asset life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination of repairs and preventative maintenance for scientific community using both internal and external engineer resource
Act as a single point of contact for all visiting engineers ensuring compliance to both PerkinElmer and client procedures
Fully host all visiting Engineers throughout their visit
Liaise between external supply partners and internal customers to qualify repair requirements with aim of achieving a right first-time approach.
Input all required data into client asset and compliance databases accurately ensuring a clear asset history and data integrity
Identify and report any observed areas of continuous improvement including sustainability initiatives
Ensure complete adherence to PerkinElmer and client Health and Safety processes
Ensure all materials required for internal and external work are managed and available to ensure planned work can proceed without delay
Provide clear communication to client user group working closely with our existing Laboratory support team
Requirements:
2+ year experience working as a planner/coordinator ideally in a pharmaceutical or scientific environment
Robust and assertive attitude towards achieving results and motivating team members
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High customer focus, this role will require the successful candidate to work with a large customer group and customer focus will be key to the success of this role
Experience of working in a fast paced, operational environment
PC literate in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
Desirable:
Pharmaceutical / Regulated working background
Customer Maintenance Management System (SAP)experience
